What You’ll Do at Ather:

• Breakdown high-level business cases into achievable, traceable, and executable automation and manual test cases.
• Develop, maintain, and upgrade manual or automated scripts, data sets, and other test data required to execute test plans.
• Perform functional testing, API testing, and integration testing of features.
• Perform regression testing every sprint and be responsible for raising defects and maintaining defect logs.
• Be responsible for test case reviews and maintaining the test case repository.
• Monitor and capture logs to document testing phases and defects.
• Share daily and weekly test results with relevant stakeholders.
• Effectively utilize code and test management tools like GitLab and JIRA.
• Liaise with stakeholders and communicate the business impact of defects to the team.

Key Technical Skills:

API Testing, Automation, Java, Selenium, Git, Bugzilla, JIRA, Postman

Requirements:

• 2 to 4 years of experience with manual testing and end-to-end automation.
• Strong knowledge and experience in API automation.
• Strong concepts in API testing and automation using Java and Selenium.
• Inclination towards debugging and breaking systems apart to investigate issues deeply.
• Experience working with Git version control.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (not mandatory but preferred).
• Well-versed with various software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience working with defect management and test management tools such as Bugzilla, JIRA, and Postman.
• ISTQB - Foundation Level Certification.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Good communication skills and high levels of aptitude and energy.
• Willingness to work from the office in Bengaluru.
